WAMC RETREAT 2023

Our speaker at camp this year will be E. Daniel Martin.    There will be childcare for children under 12 during the sessions.  This retreat is open to any regular attendee of Wilkens Ave. Mennonite Church, as we have room and subject to approval from the leadership team.  See guidelines here.  If you are under 18, you must have an adult sponsor.  Please sign up at church if you intend to go.  The deadline is Saturday, August 20, 2023.  Rita Classen will be collecting the money.

 

Time to relax, play, eat, worship, pray, share, learn, and bond with your church family at Wilkens.  There will be opportunity during the weekend to renew your commitment to our church family by participating in the covenant signing.

                 

Recreation available:  swimming, hiking, softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, frisbee golf, indoor games, climbing wall, zip line, giant swing, etc.  Bring your favorite coffee creamer, table games, frisbees, and softball equipment.  Also, bring containers to take home extra food Sunday evening.

You may arrive any time after 7 P.M. Friday evening.  Closing is 9 PM Sunday.

All campers must bring their own sheets, blankets, pillows.  If you need transportation, let us know.

 

COST:     $55.00 per adult/$45.00 per child ages 5-9 full weekend

                 $50.00 per adult/$40.00 per child two days, one night

                 $25.00 per adult/$15.00 per child for one day or less

                 Children 4 and under free                                

 

We do not want any of our members to miss this event because of finances.  We ask that everyone pay what they are able and prefer that it is paid ahead of time.
